We have mail from the Scientologiststm delivered to our mailbox. It's intended for someone that hasn't lived here in years, so I've given up on writing "Return To Sender" (they seem to have been unable to update their database anyway). This particular fellow is highly sought after by the Flag Service. I have no idea if that's good or not, but their flyers are remarkable. Large glossy affairs, with pictures of clean, well groomed people wearing snappy uniforms and smarmy grins. They contain inspiring messages that probably mean something to anyone in the cult: WE HAVE A PLANET TO CLEAR WE'RE THE ONLY HOPE THERE IS. ISN'T IT TIME YOU STOPPED MESSING AROUND AND GOT ON BOARD? Other fliers have excerpts from L. Ron Hubbard speeches with exciting passages like this: Now don't come around and tell me it's a mystery to you why you have withholds, because that's the overt which brings about the withhold. Therefore, the withhold ties directly into havingness. And of course more gibberish written by some brainwashed drone: The HAVINGNESS RUNDOWN is one of the eight Flag-only Case Resolution Rundowns, delivered with the technical precision of a FLAG Golden Age of Tech Case Cracking auditor. Really, though, the best parts of these flyers are testimonials. After the Havingness Rundown, I was more causative and I wanted to create on my job. By doing these steps, and very logically taking my situation apart, piece by piece, I have really shifted from blaming myself to taking responsibility. Because of this, I am now willing to have my business succeed. And that means I'll be able to move up The Bridge fast! Something happened on this action. I can liken it to a gate opening up and a freed-up ability to postulate on the subject of money -- I'm no longer inhibiting my flows on money. I feel as if one of the major stops on expansion has been lifted in my universe. While on this rundown, I acquired a new beingness, which is actually the real me. I feel able, and I know where I can make money and I have no consideration in making plenty o fit. Do people really buy into this drivel? Why? How is this crap possibly enticing to anyone? It's the manifestation of Orwell's Newspeak. It's pure gobbledygook! |
